Bad Food for an Olympic Ticket
I was in Beijing this last year and wanted to go see one of the swimming competitions. I went down to the main ticket office to get an Olympic ticket, but found out that I couldn't. Apparently, the tickets had all sold out. I guess I didn't think that there would be that many people attending. It wasn't like Michael Phelps was swimming that day. Either way I determined that I was not going to rest until I secured an Olympic ticket to the swimming event.
I decided my best bet was to go to the arena where the swimming contests are held and see if anyone wanted to part with their tickets. Unfortunately, everyone I asked wanted to hold onto them no matter what price I was offering.
Finally, someone said that they would trade my an Olympic ticket for swimming if I could get a ticket for beach volleyball.
I happened to know a friend of mine that had a bunch of tickets to the Olympic beach volleyball. Maybe I could make a deal with him and then make a deal with this person I met.
I went to meetwith my friend and he said that he'd be happy to give me a ticket, the only thing I had to do was buy him dinner. Unfortunately, he wanted to go to a terrible restaurant that I couldn't stand. He insisted I join him and eat exactly what he had.
We ended up going to the restaurant and he ordered the worst thing on the menu, I'm pretty sure just to get back at me for something else I'd done. However, I needed the Olympic ticket so I ate it down.
He gave me the ticket and I went to the person I had met and we exchanged the Olympic ticket for beach volleyball for swimming.
Despite the bad food, it was worth it.Soccer or European football, is a competitive team sport that is played with two teams each consisting of eleven players, lead by a captain, which kick and maneuver a spherical ball around a field.

F1 History
Formula One, or F1 for short, has a history dating back to the European Grand Prix Motor Racing prior to World War II. The world ‘formula’ actually is a set of governing rules which all participating race teams and cars must adhere to. The combination of formula and one to produce F1 is meant to signify that F1 is most advanced of all he racing formulae.
Individual regional championships under variations on this rule set began prior to WWII, however the global conflict put a damper on international racing until its conclusion. The first international F1 World Championship was held in 1950 and won by team Alfa Romeo’s Giuseppe Farina. In fact the 1950’s were an era when F1 was dominated by European giants such as Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, Maserati, and Mercedes Benz.
In the late 1940‘s through the very early 1950’s the incomparable Alfa Romeo 158 dominated all comers until Mercedes introduced their W196. Sadly a tragic accident in the 1955 Le Mans caused Mercedes Benz to pull out of professional motor-sports.
Former Auto Union mainstay, Porsche, became a dominate force by the 1960’s and many relatively new race teams had entered the fray such as Lotus and Jaguar. The 1960’s saw the increase of aerodynamic awareness in designs as well as proper weight distributions afforded by mid-engined designs.
The 1970’s saw monocoque chassis replace the aging space frame platform on which many racers were built. Competition from nascent forms of modern day NASCAR caused F1 to focus on sponsorship in an attempt to retain profitability. This sponsorship system would eventually become the hallmark of almost all forms of automobile racing, but was pioneered by F1 .
Automobile manufacturers both big and small can compete in the F1 circuit today and in sports business directorys, a far cry from its somewhat exclusive mostly European origins.Obtaining Champions League Final Tickets
